An Update on the Krumalis Family
As many of you know, Stephen and Sammi received the difficult news this last week that their precious one month old baby boy, Ezra, has a severe seizure disorder. While baby Ezra will be on some medication to control the seizures, there is no real treatment for the root issue. To our deep sorrow, this diagnosis is terminal. Most children that have this particular disorder succumb to the condition before their second year.
In this season there is a mingling of profound sadness and intense hope. We trust that the LORD is abounding in steadfast love and that He loves Ezra and his parents. As our church gathered yesterday morning we looked at Psalm 77. In it we see the psalmist addressing grief and treacherous days with candor and perspective. We find great comfort in the fact that the Bible isn’t silent when it comes to these hard days. It gives us clear direction and a strong hope. Like Asaph in Psalm 77 we remember the great works of the LORD throughout the ages. We acknowledge and rest in the fact that God’s way is often different than the way we would choose. Asaph remembers that “ Your way was through the sea, your path through the great waters;”. It brings us hope to remember that the same God that parted the sea and lead his people to safety remains on the throne and cares for the Krumalis family.
Restoration Church is committed to helping the Krumalis family as much as we can. One practical way we’re trying to care for them is to setup a way for friends and family to contribute financially to their needs. We are thankful for people that are willing and able to help bear their burdens in this hard season. If you would like to contribute financially to their family you can click on the link below or can send a check made out to Restoration Church to the address below…just be sure to designate the funds in the memo line of your check. 100% of the money we will receive will go to the Krumalis family.
Please join us in continued prayers for healing, strength, hope, wisdom, and joy.
